don't know where to put it: problem with forum

Hi, I was wondering if one of the moderators, when they get a chance, could check into why I don't get the response I should when I click on "show unread posts" shouldn't that show me anything that has been posted since I was last here, in any of the forums? I also wonder if there is a way to make it so I don't get emails when new topics or responses or topics come up and only see them when I click on "show unread posts" here? Otherwise it just fills my inbox right up too fast, at least I assume it will.

to stop getting e-mails when replies are posted you have to go and change your preferances.

Thanks for answering that Blizzard. I'll have to look into the "show unread posts" further. This particular forum is totally new to me. I've never used this service before and am still learning how things work in the admin panel.

However, it'll have to wait until tomorrow. I'm headed to bed before there's an accident... :-)

I was getting the email notifications as well, but found how to turn them off in Preferences. For the most part it works. I still seem to get a stray email once in awhile that a forum was posted to. It was only 1 today, so no biggie. Better than the 8 per hour I got last night. lol

Sometimes, if it was a thread you posted to BEFORE deactivating the notification in preferances, then you have to go in to your subscriptions and remove the thread there.
